As we come to a close on another year, I want to take the time to wish you a very, very Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in 2009. As we reflect on the old, and look forward to the new, allow God to quiet your spirit and mind for the coming days. Remember, Jesus is the reason for this season….so rest and be still as you make necessary adjustments in your life for 2009.
For example, 2008 was the year of simplicity for the Johnson family. We simplified our lives by getting organized, planned better and took our time to make informative decisions.
In 2009, my prayer for my family will center on financial management due to our dismal economy. Not only will we cut back on unnecessary and worthless expenses, we will better manage what we have. God’s blessings extend into our finances and they must be managed according to His Word. This is my prayer. Please do the same within your family.
God bless you and enjoy God’s blessings in 2009.
