How About Some Common Courtesy?

By Kevin Wayne Johnson | Authors , Books , Christianity , Religion , Spirituality , Uncategorized

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” known to some as the “Golden Rule,” is one of the most well-known principles of Christian Living:

“So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them; for this is the Law and the prophets.” (Matthew 7:12 RSV)

Today is recognized as “Common Courtesy Day” in the U.S. Jesus teaches us to treat others as we would like for them to treat us. Allow this day to be used to honor Jesus’ teaching on this important subject.  You could change someone’s life today!

Forgiveness

By Kevin Wayne Johnson | Authors , Books , Christianity , Religion , Spirituality , Uncategorized

Yesterday was designated “Forgive Mom and Dad Day” in the U.S.

Although I do not know its origin, I do realize that the act of forgiveness is a powerful prescription for the release of unwanted pain and misery.  Tomorrow is the beginning of another Spring season. It symbolizes a fresh beginning, newness of life, longer days with warmer weather.

Let go of the past…live for the present. Forgive those who may have caused harm in your life and move forward.
