A word to live by:
“Trust in the Lord with all of thine heart
And lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct thy paths.” (KJV
– Proverbs 3:5-6
“Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path,
because of mine enemies.”
– Psalm 27:11
As I watch the beautiful snow coming down this morning, knowing that more snow is coming throughout the day, I can’t help but to think about God’s magnificence before my very eyes. Every snow flake has a slightly different shape – are there are millions of flakes falling!
Further, it’s a perfect day off from work to reflect upon the year 2013 so far, and how wonderful it has been. I am even more excited about what is about to come relative to fatherhood, marriage, ministry, writings, health, well-being, peace, family, friends, and Jesus’ love for me. Wow!
As my lovely bride (Gail) and I celebrate 20 years of marriage on this day, I give thanks through the power of prayer. Yes, prayer works and it is my time to openly communicate with my Heavenly Father continually (1 Thes 5:17), with simplicity (Matthew 6:5-6), believing (Matthew 21:22), with tenacity (Luke 18:1-8), with purity of heart (Psalms 66:18-19), and in Jesus’s name (John 14:13).
Lord…it’s me again – It is my prayer today that You continue to bless my children, wife, church family, friends, co-workers, partners in ministry, neighbors, and the body of Christ worldwide.
